Seaward 26RK

Anyone familiar with the 26RK. I looked at it yesterday at the Annapolis Boat show and have two questions.

1. The only bilge pump is in the bow section if you do not count the shower. I was told any water that gets below can be just "mopped up" or if deep enough it will overflow the shower lip and can be pumped out that way. The hull liner is bonded to the the hull so there is not a space below. Is this normal for 26 foot trailerables?

2. How does she sail and any other impressions?

I think most 26 foot trailerables are water ballast. I've known a couple of people that had them. One still does, the other got out of sailing. Both kept their boats in a slip and only trailered occasionally. There is a Seaward forum on the net at: bbs.trailersailor.com/forums/seaward/index.cgi
