We're in for the 22nd. No preference as to location. Mill Creek is closer for any of us heading from south of the bridge but what's a few miles here ot there

We're in for the 22nd, by boat, slight preference for Mill Cr because it would give us more time to socialize with folks due to less time traveling, but no strong preference. How many are coming by land?

Ok for the 22nd, would prefer Gray's inn creek but Mill creek would also work.

We're up for either location, but also prefer Mill Creek for the same reason as others. It's just a lot closer for us. But we can probably make it to either location.

Then its SETTLED! ANCHOR DROPPED!

Mill Creek, weekend of Aug 22nd.

Jeff_H, can you post a lat/long for the raftup? or a chart showing where folks should drop anchor?

We'll probly head out Friday night or early Sat am, and will be flying the SailNet Burgee

Those who can't make it...start picking a date and location in late Sept or early Oct.

The rest...see ya there!

Grrr- I'll be missing this one. Our sailing club has a crab feast that day that I've already registered and paid for... had it been Gray's Inn Creek I'd have dinghied over from Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge for a short pre-feast visit.

Wish you all a great time and I'll look forward to Sept/Oct event.

Regards...MGM

Jeff_H has a spectacular aura about Jeff_H has a spectacular aura about
I can make a few suggestions, If there aren't too many boats then we can anchor in the mouth of Martin's Cove just inside where it meets Mill Creek. (N 39 00 05.79 W 76 27 29.55) That is close to Cantlers for those who want to dinghy over to pick up crabs, and is close to the dock at my house for those who want to come by land, park at my place and dinghy out. (Someone with a motorized dinghy will need to do the ferrying)

If there is a lot of us, and it is a hot and not too windy an evening or the winds are predicted out of the north, south or southwest, then we should probably anchor out in the creek across from Burley Creek. (N 38 59 46.51 W 76 27 21.61) There is a lot more swinging room, and more breeze if its a really hot night.

If bouncy weather is anticipated then we might want to go further up the creek (N 39 00 26.45 W 76 27 30.64).

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh to you all as well,

Jeff
