I'll miss you guys on Friday. Started off the week with a cold and missed work on Monday, so I'll have to cancel my plan to take Friday off. I'll go up Saturday and depending on what my brother has going on, may stay over for part of Sunday.

Fortunately, I'm feeling a lot better and think I may be near 100% by Saturday.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

We're going to be there, and we're looking forward to seeing those of you we've met before, and meeting those we haven't. We were originally going to bring some fellow sailors (guests of ours for boat show) with us, but turns out they're not getting into town until later, so we'll be on our own.

See you tomorrow!

We should be there too... I've been developing a new wireless product for cruising and we're talking to a bunch of trade magazines about it over the next few days... So - we'll be around until Monday and will try to make it to the get together.

to chuckles and mmr - is dragging the sailingdog with you kinda like dragging anchor? (hope not, he's been a big contributor to SailNet!)

to everyone else: we'll gather in front of the Wet Dog Cafe at the picnic tables (as you come in the main marina entrance, straight ahead in front of the gray and white building just before the water. You'll know if you've gone too far because your car will be going glug glug glug in Back Creek. See you all at 7 or so.

We are here but do not see anyone other than folks going to boats.

Hi y'all. We are sitting here at the deck of the Wet Dog Cafe. Lovely evening. Hope to meet many soon.
