Bonus days in November

Saturday and today were primo sailing days.

We were able to enjoy Saturday with a rocket ship ride over to Tolchester and back in less than 3 hours. Was a little chilly in the evening so we opted to stay overnight in the Club in our slip so we could avail ourself of the heat on the boat as opposed to anchoring.

Today was spent on taking the dinghy of the davits, deflating it and bringing it home and doing some minor repairs on the boat as well as preparing it for the winter. Sails wont come off until mid December when the canvas cover goes on over the boat.

Wednesday we got our new radar pole, strut, radar hoop, detachable engine hoist from Garhauer which we are adding in the spring. It will help us clean up our stern antennas. I am very impressed with their craftsmanship.

Dave
