Smile Snow!

There's simply no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ...

Snow started in the afternoon and there is already a lot of snow out there!

I see they're predicting a record-breaking 20-22 inches in Annapolis. We're even feeling the edge of that low here in the northwest Bahamas with gusts to 35 (but it's warmer than the Chesapeake!)

Wishing you all a white Xmas!

Eryka, you get no sympathy for "snow days" in the Bahamas. Though I've seen the locals wearing winter coats and sandals when it's in the 60s.
I keep a stiff broom and a small plastic snow shovel to clear my decks.

WanderingStar, I realize I won't get any sympathy, nor dare I ask for any. Its just an indication of the scale of this storm that edges reach clear down here. Its also pretty amusing to see the locals in their sweatshirts, muttering because it'll go down into the 60s tonight. Well, it is WINTER, after all!

eryka,
We've got 15 inches down in Deale with the worst yet to come. You were really smart to get out of here when you did -- enjoy

I know you're happy down there Eryka. I was just teasing. I once did get "snow days" in the Bahamas: the Northeast was snowed in and I couldn't fly home )
If you go to Marsh Harbour there's a sign in some-one's yard that says " Snow Emergency Route". I agree.
