Fourth of July

I'd love to see the Fourth of July fireworks from the water this year. Can anyone throw some tips my way? I want to stay put for the night and avoid any who are drinking and boating, so would love to know a good place to anchor/moor dock. Perhaps somewhere we can see the Baltimore and Annapolis shows?

You might enjoy The Sailing Emporium in Rock Hall, MD. Fireworks are on July 3 and are preceeded by the US Navy jazz band the "Commodores". Take a slip or anchor in the harbor (very limited anchorage available) so I recommend the slip. Fireworks are shot off from the seawall... any closer and they'd have to give you an igniter.

We will do Rock Hall on the third and Annapolis on the 4th. No avoiding the drinkers though. Bring a loud air horn and spotlight.

Baltimore Inner Harbor has fantastic fireworks. Usually one set near Dominos, the other at the Inner Harbor Mall. Finding an open slip for the weekend isn't easy though. Better to start making calls ASAP if you want a slip. Not many great places to anchor either. Some drop the hook just past Baltimore Marine Center. I'd avoid the area adjacent to the Aquarium as I believe the marine police keep it clear due to the fireworks.
