heading north (home) this weekend

Hopefully my boat is really ready to go this time. We should be heading out of Knapps Narrows this friday 7/23.

Hope to make Annapolis friday night, then rock hall saturday then worten sunday then bohemia river monday.

Of course forecast is 90+ and chance scattered thunderstorms.
If you are out this weekend give us a shout.

We got home yesterday. On friday we got into annapolis by 3 but it was too hot to do anything but hang around in A/C stored until the sun went down. We skipped rock hall and pushed to worten creek on saturday. That was an active day on the radio. A boat sunk off luff point. Then a body was found under the bay bridge (about an hour after we passed under it). Then later a boat burned completely. Around pooles island the wind died and I started to regret to decision to push to worten but then we each took a turn going up on the upper deck and throwing a bucket of water over our head and we went swimming a couple of hours outside worten creek. Got up at 5 to beat the storm home yesterday. Helen vows not to step on the boat unless the temperature is in the 80s.

+1.

If the temps don't break, you'll see me in September.
