Jeff - understood! For all... show if you can and if other events intervene - no worries, we will push through whatever boats that can make it. Chris, glad you are back in. Assume the Sat has stabilized herself?

We are just back from a 5-day sail to the Magothy R., Still Pond, Chesapeake City and Annapolis - disappointed to see the Wx news Jeff mentions.

I will keep an eye on the Wx and make a call on Friday and post it here. Please, please, look before leaving on Saturday. I have more than enough enemies already without making someone sail 25nm just to sit in the rain and impugn my parentage.

erkya - will you add Wayne & Sally to the Fleet Club event if it is not too late?

On second thought...

Joe,

Maybe you should call this one. I'm going to assume standing on a bridge in the pelting rain trying to keep expensive optics dry while dodging aerial high-voltage is even more annoying than "setting in the rain" on a boat. My boat has not started leaking yet - so it's no stress for me!

Do you want to be the referee for this call?

Yes, Hubble is up and running. There are still a few loose ends to tie up but nothing requiring extra hours.

Regarding the weather the NOAA forecast looks great:

Perhaps we should use this forecast

If it's not too late, my wife and I are in both for dinner Saturday night and for the photo op!

You're "in" for Fleet Club too - I don't have to finalize the head count till Thurs evening.

Chris....if you are in Rock Creek, we will be there on Friday. Maybe we can sneak up the creek and tie the Chefs anchor to the dock.

LOL, I'll still beat you, dock and all

All this talk about racing, what have I done...I was really just joking, not sure what time we'll be heading out since my wife will be getting in late Friday night from Denver and I'm sure suffering from jet lag. I'm hoping a mooring wont be hard to come by, I dislike anchoring in Spa Creek.

Marine forecast for Sunday:
SUN
NE WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WAVES 1 FT. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

Obviously the better the weather the better the images...but short of lightning I can manage to be there... my cameras are "weather proof" not water proof, but weather proof. Perhaps we should go over the meet/start times... I have 10:30 in my calendar as the start. I will be shooting from the Bay side (southeast side) of the bridge for both runs. I will have my cell-phone and my handheld VHF monitoring 09, 78, 68.

Do we still have some people shooting from water level? If so, could someone shoot an image of the bridge crew too?

I am looking forward to this project, it should be fun...
