Just arrived home from our dinner at the Fleet Reserve Club, Thank you Eryka for hosting our group. And than you all for such a wonderful dinner, it was well worth the wife rearranging our plans to make it.

This is our grand group. Tomorrow will be picture day, everyone dress nice and comb your hair;-)

Many many thanx to Wayne, logistics officer extraordinaire, for setting this up, and to Joe for standing on the bridge! If I've done this right, my pathetic attempts at photos like this

Thanks to Wayne and Joe, his support crew, and Jaye for making this wonderful event happen.

Jaye - thanks for getting your photos up so quickly.

What a wonderful event.

Special thanks to Wayne ( I am sure Sally had some imput)( also sorry for going out of order) for bringing it together so wonderfully. Joe..to stand on the bridge in the rain, snapping away...thanks so much, was great to meet you and your wife Saturday. And of course Jaye and Dan for hosting us at the Fleet Club.

Was great meeting:
Clay and his wife,
Dave and his wife (we have been many of the same place in NE and LISound we have to share experieces again, hopefully you could give us a few new ports to visit.
Chris...our fellow Baltimore brother and his beautifful daughter Julia
Shawn Irena, Elizabeth and Olivia who we always enjoy being with
Good seeing Spindrift again...

The ride back to Baltimore was an ass kicker....20 steady,,,,swirling crazy gusts at the bridge and i nice mellow 3 second 2-3 foot Chessie chop on the bow till the Patapsco. We sailed most of it hunkered down with out side panels in and foulies on. Chef was doing great on his close hauled run, looking like Ahab exposed to all the elements. Hopefully Chris and Spindrift faired well.

Thank you all for the camraderie...lets do it again...... soon.

Dave

Audra had a nice ride back: more sail than motor. Arrived around 5 and followed the bay water bath with a long fresh water one (the boat...not me (yet)).

Thanks to everyone who played a part in making this happen but especially to Joe and crew for braving the bridge. Did you every get your lunch?

Chris
