Happy to have something to contribute. We'd be happy to join all in Weems afterward but I do tend to prefer anchoring on my own. We'll dinghy over.

Alternatively, we have had great fun with dinghy raft-ups -- everyone ties off behind the anchor boat (although I've been to one floating raft-up that was a hoot) and brings finger food to pass and BYOB. Depends entirely on how many people folks have dinghies along.

Eryka, I was just wondering the same thing. But even if the two don't get combined, there's nothing to prevent anyone from flying the Courtney flag for the bridge photo-op.

My flag is on order, and I would have loved to join in on both events -- but I am out of commission for a while due to recent surgery. I might be able to come to the bridge by car -- so I'll follow the thread and see which date gets settled on.

Just found this thread.
Sounds great!

September 26th and then 12 are fine by me.

If September 12th and 26th continue to lead the votes and remain close it might work to plan for the 12th with the 26th as a rain date. Just a thought.

If we can find a place with AC, I can bring a nice printer too (and my laptop). I have a nice portable 5x7 printer that I can make the prints for a "good" price...

These dates are Sundays (Sept 12 & 26), just want to make sure we are all on the same page. I am fine with either.

Hi Joe - Yes Sundays all, probably 12 and 26 Sept, but I will wait till Friday for other votes. I will post guidelines later for all participants to critique. Hoping to get the coordination smoothed before the event.

Supermodels,

Here is a draft of the photo session guidelines: Severn R Photo Session

Managing 10-12 boats via VHF is always a "goat rope". Apologies for the photo Nazi treatment, but I have learned by experience that things like this do not go off like clockwork. And, I really would like to keep Joe's bridge time minimal.

Please have a look at my suggestions via the above link and make any suggestions for change that you think appropriate. I will continue to update the draft up until Friday 10 Sept.

It will be a great help to have your boat name and LOA. If you will post or PM I will incorporate that info now place-held with a TBD in the guidelines.

More to follow...
