Fell's Point Festival, October 2-3

The 44th Annual Fells Point Festival is this weekend. Information is at:

The Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill and Fell's Point

The weather looks great so we'll be checking out the fun and sailing in the area. Saturday night we'll either dock right at the festival or a couple of blocks away and would love to join up with other SailNet'ers .

Chris

Sounds like fun. We'll have to come by land as we have a previous committment for Sunday. (Anyway, winds will be out of the north on Friday and that would be a boring trip getting there.)

Fells Point Fun Festival is ALWAYS a fun event! Be sure to check out the Cat's Eye Pub where they usually have a great blues group and on older crowd (no beboppers). Unfortunately, I can't go this year but will have to live vicariously through you!

Cat's Eye and One-Eyed Mike's are two of my Fells Point favorites. Don't know yet what my plans are for the weekend. Might go anchor out with my sailing club, might go off on my own or with a friend, might even end up in Fells Point. Look for me, I'll be wearing something nautical.

It was great to meet you tonight, Chris. We're looking forward to a fun weekend, as long as we don't end up sailing down main street this evening.

Have fun, I'm taking a old friend out for an overnight late Saturday. BTW, can someone tell the rain gods to stop, or I'll be able to keep the boat in our basement soon Arrrggg

Good choices. Be advised that if you attempt a methodical survey of all the pubs in the Point you will never complete it inasmuch as there are sixty of them in seven blocks. I have that on good authority.

Last night was a good start to the weekend. I like those "flood festival" beer prices

We'll be sailing around the harbor all weekend and will be sure to stop by occasionally. Enjoy the festivities!

I'm heading to the boat shortly and won't be checking the computer. Anyone who wants to meet up around the festival can call me at four/four/three six/nine/zero four/nine/eight/eight.

Fair winds!
Chris
