Great weekend. Got an early start Saturday and had good wind across the bay and up a ways on the Chester River. Rafted up with Seas the Day for great food and friendship. Cast off at sunrise for a motor home but then has great wind for a few hours before sunset. As I said... great weekend.

Whoever said Chesapeake Fall sailing is great was spot on. Another sweet weekend is behind us. It was nice seeing so many boats out yesterday. The Patapsco is amazingly smooth with so few powerboats.

Other than a delivery trip to the barn that might do it for us this year...

I was out on Monday (11/22) and the temps were upper 50s and light winds 5-8 knots. We had 2 HS friends come up from Florida. I don't think they realized just how lucky they were to have such "mild" weather for sailing this late in November. We sailed from Galesville to Thomas Point and back. They had never seen TP up close. It was a treat.

Today the temps are in the 30s, a bit too cold for my tastes. But I am hoping for more mild weather.

Keeping my fingers crossed here for an overnight this weekend, Saturday - Sunday most likely...a rainy cold Friday isn't so appealing to my crew

What happened to our beautiful, read mild, fall. This week sorta blew the socks off the sailing thing. Maybe it will turn warm again soon...
