They grow up way too fast

Sailing is over this year. But something keeps the old man entertaining. This one is mine at UM College Park

YouTube - My little guy grew up after all these years

Thats great Dawg..Congrats

Mine got married this year at the age of 28 and she is now officially off my payroll. Funny she is a music teacher in Toms River New jersey and bought her first keelboat. A used Tartan 27 and keeps in on Barnegat Bay.

When Donna and I want a reminder of what having kids was like we like raft up with T37Chef. His girls are the funny, cute, and so well mannered. They take after their mom obviously..

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

For the last 4 years, my wife and I have taken our two oldest grandkids sailing for two weeks each summer. They are cousins, now 14 and 11. It has been fun showing and teaching them about sailing. The break does wonders for their parents, too.

Two of my granddaughters in the Bahamas. They'd never swum in salt water before. Everything's an adventure at that age.

Oh gosh, my daughter will be 39 in March (we had her when I was 12) but my granddaughters are just 4 & 2 so a bit young still to be spending "weeks" with the grandrents, although they both love sailing for limited time... I can't wait for a couple years to pass so they can spend some time sailing with us.

Oh as a good friend said, "I am just happy she has been able to stay out of jail." Well, actually she is way better than that, but you get the idea...
