We've got some photos of our boat in that area so I can volunteer to do some photos, provided no one expects them to be as amazing as Joe's! Or, another option, we can crew on Joe's boat so he could take his own pix.

I can be available to shoot again this year. September is better for me. My summer schedule is filling up fast. 2 Weddings (Memorial day weekend and Labor Day weekend). I am thinking of September 17/18 and 24/25 as backup. RockDawg, I would gladly accept assistance. We also need a venue. Last time it was discussed we talked about Thomas Point or Bay Bridge. Any other suggestions?

Captain McCary,

I would love to be your assistant, but Sept 17 weekend is my days of sailing on the time-share boat. But the week after is perfect.

Standing by for further directions.

PalmettoSailor will become famous soon enough
I'll keep my eye on the this thread and I hope the date works out to something I can attend. I'd opine that TP lighthouse would be a more interesting backdrop than Bay Bridge but either is close enough for me to make it.

Re: Virgina Dare, Palmetto Moon spent the winter on the row behind Dare and I kept a lookout every time I was over there, but never saw anyone about, then shortly before we splashed, I noticed the broker's sign.

I hope they decided to upgrade (or down size) and this is not a result of something more serious.

Virgina Dare is a beautiful boat, I wish I had the financial wherewithal to consider a boat of that caliber.

I had the chance to get in touch with Wayne...everything is well! Thankfully, I had some concerns. Anyway, Wayne & Sally decided to give up sailing for travel it seems and are very happy. Fairwinds Wayne, Sally, & Virgina Dare...we'll miss seeing you around the bay. Cheers

HR39 Virginia Dare is now on the hard behind Free State Yachts at Herrington Harbor North. She looks good. Roger, Liz, and Scott keep a close eye on her.

Pusteblume, the HR40 I delivered from Daytona to Annapolis for the Boat Show last year, is there also.

Using TP as a backdrop will take more efforts. And a stable photo platform will be needed. I will drag a camera out and do some practice images to see how it looks and post them here.
