July 4th is always in my heart. I have always been pondering how lucky we were to have so many brilliant and unselfish minds to create this country. Our founding fathers crafted our Constitutions more than 200 years ago which are still applicable today.

For someone who was born without Freedom of Speech, Religion and Association, America is a heaven on earth. It is a place to excel and make your dreams come true.

Yes, we do have problems, our society is not perfect, but neither are we. Our nation has become a nation of whining babies. The entitlement appears to be our birthright. We can’t go on this way, we must change and adapt with the changes of the political climate. Survival the fittest

July 4th is a day for us to reflect and to appreciate our founding father for their work and wisdom. Happy Birthday.

Nice sentiment, Rock. Even though ... or more properly, BECAUSE, we disagree on political issues. One of my Facebook friends posted this as her status today: "Happy 4th of July! This year I voted, publicly expressed my opinion on local policy both in person and in the press, and proudly paid taxes for government programs that improved roads, schools and cared for the frail. I practiced my religion or lack thereof. I wore shorts on a hot day. I was not shot at, stoned nor put in jail. Proud to be a participating American!"

Yes, we are all different in many ways. Some like blondes, some like steaks, some like science, some like government, some like Christ, some like steering around with their car or boat, and some like to drive their car or sail their boat. If we peel away these superficial differences, we are all the same. Homo sapiens - we are programmed to love sex, defend our territory, love our children, not to eat each other and more importantly, we are programmed to love each other when the thread of being harm is removed. All these actions are to protect the survival of the species.

Life is short, make it meaningful.

Yes, Freedom is never free. If we want peace, prepare for war. Yes, my heart always goes those who served. I was never drafted during the vietnam era My parents were so relief, and I was too young to understand.
