Re: 2012 Sailing Season

We are going to Cambridge this weekend to attend the powerboat regatta. Yeah, I know, I know. We are staying at the municipal marina if anyone is interested.

Re: 2012 Sailing Season

How about Saturday around 5? Bring whatever you're drinking and some EASY appetizers and we'll order pizza or Chinese food if we're still hungry. I'll PM folks with directions. (So far I have Auspicious, 4arch, and chef2sail, anyone else?)

Re: 2012 Sailing Season

Sailed yesterday from our dock down the Severn almost to the Route 50 bridge (5 miles), where the motorboat wakes got to be too much to maintain any momentum, then had a fairly pleasant sail home. The wind blew from nearly all directions and never for more than five minutes all day. Saturday had a lot more wind than was predicted, but was also constantly shifting direction and off and on. I wonder if there's anything in forecasts that indicates how consistent the wind is predicted to be?
