Re: 2012 Sailing Season

Unfortunately, I have a private party to play on Saturday, but I'm off Sunday and Tuesday. Gonna' go sailin', anchor somewhere for Sunday night, grill some filet mignon, mix up a batch of Margarettas, then head home Monday morning. Monday afternoon I have to visit with a very attractive young lady at the Upper Chesapeake Cardiac Rehabilitation Center who says she's gonna' get me in better shape, even if it kills me.

Cheers,

Gary

Re: 2012 Sailing Season

OK..who's got the get together location for this month? Provided the engine turns over..the prop goes round and round..and there is movement of air.. we just might make it..

As mentioned above, Swann Creek. We will be there noon-ish.

Re: 2012 Sailing Season

While the winds look favorable tomorrow, the precip does not. We are NOT going to anchor out in Swan Creek this weekend but if anyone happens to be in Rock Hall, feel free to stop by Gratitude for a spot of something. Regardless, we'll be on the boat preparing for a potential hurricane and doing miscellaneous boat stuff if nothing else.

For future reference, it looks like Rock Hall is building a public dinghy dock on Swan Creek. We saw the sign while cycling down Route 20. I'll post more information as I see things progress.

Looks like it was approved to have a dingy dock on Swan Creek back in '09

Rock Hall Government

Yeah, it's the south, but just barely.

Looks like there will be a gathering in Langford Creek at the end of this month. Our boat which is currently on a mooring, at Lankford Bay Marina, has to be moved due to some fairly recent law that all boats in Kent Co. on moorings that are in the vicinity of duck blinds must be removed prior to water fowl hunting season. So keep your head down..some of these eastern shore locals have some bad aim..

Weather is calling for a nice Friday and Saturday..then turning nasty on Sunday. We will be down at the marina this weekend as well, moving the boat from the mooring to an assigned slip. So give a shout on 16/9
