I'm a little intimidated about entertaining a couple of chefs. My palate is fairly tone-deaf.

Re: 2012 Sailing Season

Not to worry. This chef likes burgers and dogs as does T37chef. The get together is not about food...its about commradierie and meeting people and story telling and laughing and.....

Thank you for just being willing to find us a safe place to anchor and hang out (sans permit) . Even if we cant do the land thing it will be all good. Just direct us to the best spot for all of us to drop our hooks.

Absolutely, Rich, thanks for stepping up.

Camaraderie, meeting folks, blah blah, all good. But...food is good, too.

The whole permitting thing is working out decently. We definitely have a 100 boat threshold now and 200 is achievable. We'll see. DNR has been really easy to work with.

I'm working on a get out of jail free card for me. *grin*

I really like dinghy raft-ups although they do require a dinghy. Of those that might show up to a Sailnet sail-in how many carry a dinghy? If even half of us have dinghies we could anchors somewhere and have a dinghy party.

I like the idea, but have no dinghy. I'll host a "Left Behind" party.
