The eastern shore northern bay has also 'cleared'. Probably the predominant SW winds are 'mixing' the bay water .... as is the normal wind patterns. When the winds are westerly, the bay doesnt 'mix' as well.

It's a shame the bay is so dirty, I'm not much for government intrusion but I think oysters should be hands off for a few years, we could cut back on giving foreign aid to a few of those "friendly" countries that cut us down every chance they get and pay off the watermen just like they do out West with the farmers. I'm not saying this is THE answer but it's a thought. All I know is that it's a shame that the bay becomes dangerous to swim in and fish that under normal circumstances is good for you can poison you if you eat too much of it.
