Chef2sail,
Change of plans, we'll come by car and won't need a slip. Sorry for the short notice. Weather Friday looks unpleasant enough that my wife doesn't want to sail/motor up.

Hope this doesn't cause difficulty canceling with such short notice. Let me know if MYC requires partial payment or anything.
See you Saturday.

Unfortunately something has come up with family Saturday that means a last minute change of plans this weekend.

I apologize for the late notice and hope to make next year!

Mark,

No sweat. No charge either.

Were just glad you and Amy didn't cancel. I don't blame her as Friday will be nasty to come up from Solomons. It will be nice seeing you guys

OK seriously you all know the boat floats in the stuff right? I thought they are just calling for heavy rains tonight through Friday, not much wind? Not trying to sound critical of anyone's decision I guess I'm just a bit surprised rain wound change so many folks minds.

Cheers,
Shawn

Dave,

We're two days away by boat. Tomorrow looks like dangerous conditions, with thunderstorms likely. No way we will make it by boat.

Here's the problem - my older son is flying all the way in from Seattle specifically to sail with me. If weather permits on Saturday, we're going to sail somewhere, which will prevent us from attending. If lightning is likely on Saturday, we can't sail and would be able to come down by car.

Saturday's weather prediction is all over the place, depending on where you look, so I have no way to nail this down right now. If my son wasn't flying in to go sailing, I'd just cancel sailing plans and drive down.

So I'm stuck in a holding pattern. I'm probably the only guy who will be more likely to show up if the weather is BAD.

I'll try to lock in the decision Friday. Meanwhile, let me know if I should cancel my slip myself, or if you are handling that for the group.
