Bleed fuel system (I had tried unsuccessfully, thought I had a bad fuel pump).
Replace anchor light.
Replace engine mounts (Yanmar 2GMF).

Re: boatyard rec solomons?

I can see why you'd be upset. A yard should be able to do that in a day or two.

I walked the dock the other day, nice looking boat. I think your on the 'rich' side, lol. I need my anchor light replaced also, but I always go to Zan's, they have done right by me.

The other boats may be "rich," mine's definitely in the fixer-upper stage. There are a couple of larger boats on my side near the steps.

Did you sail Saturday or Sunday?

No we didn't, wanted to, but we had the Grandson, and it just didn't work out. I'm hoping this weekend for sure!

I should be working on mine Saturday, and both of us should be there Sunday.

If you're sailing around solomons swing by the Race Committee boat, I'll be doing RC around 1230-1300.

Good running into you yesterday! We skipped sailing because of the rain (Drew on the other Hunter 31 showed me to line of thunderstorms moving in just after we talked). Another great lunch at Stoney's Kingfisher as a consolation prize.

Re: boatyard rec solomons?

I have used Washburns for 15 years with great success.
I refurbishe my own mast there at resonable cost and time over the winter. They laid it on saw horses for easy access on a wooden deck area that made the work comfortable.

Re: boatyard rec solomons?

I did enjoy meeting another 'sailnetter'. I'm hoping this weekend will be better, temps look real good, and the front should bring wind? Hope to see you there.
