Hire Someone To Do Shear Stripe?

As I try to get ready for launch my schedule from hell and the weather has prevented me from applying the shear stripes (wide pin stripe top part of hull) that I have sitting on my dining room table. We have just suffered a terrible family tragety that will prevent today through Monday as far as any work to be done on this. I called a friend claimed to know someone who would do this and was quoted $5.00 a foot! That would total over $300! I don't mind someone making a living but I won't support someone making a killing, especially for something that I can do if given a little cooperation from the weather. Anyone have any suggestions who might locally be available to do this at a reasonable price?

Re: Hire Someone To Do Shear Stripe?

Going over some old posts...Update: We ended up doing it ourselves...IN THE WIND! All worked out FINE! I did get a quote for application...$5 per foot! Thats NUTS! I can understand someone making a living but not a killing. Maybe I'm in the wrong business, this was an EASY job!
