Hampton to Annapolis

Tentative plan is to leave out from the Hamptons at 11pm with the low tide on Fri heading to the Severn River on a 25’ Ericson with 3 people. Any advice other than to stay warm and dry? I am thinking that if all goes well that we should be able to sail nonstop. IF the winds are as predicted out of the NW and then E on Sunday. I am hoping that we should be able to make it in less than 30 hours. Any good hiding holes if we need to anchor on the western shore? Thanks Dan

My advice is that the Maryland crab soup (the red stuff) is best at The Boatyard Bar & Grill. Nice and spicy.

Yeah the soup+the 4 cups of coffee I had at around 1am on Sat. night tasted alot better going down. LOL

Its gonna be frosty, hope you have otto pilot and a dodger,..yes? you will be motoring down the east river with an outboard??? Hey alot of us are crazy enough to spend all kinds of money drive hundreds of miles, put on stupid looking expensive gear in the middle of the nite pay good money wait in a long line freeze your ass off in a seat hanging on the side of a mountain, for a 10 minute potentially very dangerous slide on 2 fiberglass sticks, how mch colder can it be....safe trip.....Red
