Stove Point is the end of the long skinny peninsula coming down from Deltaville. I have anchored happily between R6 and the duck blind (only a platform when I was last there, no blind). See https://activecaptain.com/X.php?lat=...24696&t=n&z=14 . It's obviously exposed to the Bay and so could be bumpy in an East wind, but in practice no more so than Godfrey Bay. It's a great stop heading up or down the Bay.
Godfrey Bay below Iron Point is a nice spot as well although that much farther off track if one's goal is to get North or South.
Shellenberger doesn't list either the Stove Point anchorage or Godfrey Bay. I don't know about the other guides.
