Ok you stumped me on that one. Do you mean Godfrey Bay across from Stove Point?
Ausp, where is this Stone Point you are are referring to?
Stove Point is the end of the long skinny peninsula coming down from Deltaville. I have anchored happily between R6 and the duck blind (only a platform when I was last there, no blind). See https://activecaptain.com/X.php?lat=...24696&t=n&z=14
. It's obviously exposed to the Bay and so could be bumpy in an East wind, but in practice no more so than Godfrey Bay. It's a great stop heading up or down the Bay.
Godfrey Bay below Iron Point is a nice spot as well although that much farther off track if one's goal is to get North or South.
Shellenberger doesn't list either the Stove Point anchorage or Godfrey Bay. I don't know about the other guides.
