leaking ls 13
We have one - there are nylon gaskets and rubber o rings behind the aluminum plates.
I dismantled mine. cleaned everything. replaced the o rings, scraped smooth the nylon gasket and replaced the stainless nuts and bolts - I re-assmbled with some waterproof grease and thing have held up pretty well. I do keep a srewdriver and wrench to tighten the seals occasionally when i notice a leak. hope this helps. david |

Curious how your attmpts to seal the leaks around the levers turned out. I have a LS 16 that I totally rebuilt a few years ago and Have the same problem. I have some gaskets off the plumbing aisle at the big-box that I'm hoping will solve the problem but I haven't put them in yet. Have to say, I never thought about greasing them also.

leaks
sorry for the long delay - leaks have held up well. I keep a wrench and screwdriver on board if I need to tighten the pressure plates. Havent had to re grease yet - used waterproof wheel bearing grease. boat looks nice - like all the wood adds - with the nice lines of the chryslers - makes your ls look classic!
