I'd use atleast 55' for a halyard if they end at the mast. Add another 15' if they're lead aft. May be a little long, but always better than being too short.

whoops, just realized I was in the wrong forum. Lengths should be similar. Cut-to-length is all I buy, a lot cheaper than pre-made.
