Rudder for Columbia 22

Does anyone know where I can find a used rudder for my Columbia 22 or I am willing to buy a used boat for parts.

Hey, Eastern Runner -- eBay often has Columbia 22s for sale, some storm damaged. Try signing up for "Google Alerts" and have them tell you any time the words "Columbia 22" come up over the Internet.

Another idea is to join the Columbia 22 owners group. Go to Yahoo Groups online and search "columbia22sailboats" (one word). The group is growing and is good for trading info and tips.

I had to get a rudder a while back for my Columbia 22' I ended up getting one that was on a Thunderbird 24'. Had to trim the top of the rudder a bit but the shaft is 1" so it works great!

Check with Wickford Marine Consignment, Wickford, RI. They have tons of stuff, literally. I saw a rudder there that would have worked for my C-26, not sure the dimensions of the 22. Maybe worth a call. Mike
