That's nice you are on your dad's yacht--so why respond to someone to tell that you cannot be of any help because you around the other side of the world? Anyhow, the OP here does not seem to be for real....and the ad was posted months ago. And what does im and iv mean anyhow? And a long hall trip?

Re: Crew/Captain Wanted - Charleston, SC to Nassau (Paid)

Hi,been working up north here in Ct offshore fishing for a couple of couple of years. I have 25 years of various bluewater experience but since this is a sailing deal, I have over 75,000 nautical miles sailing my own 38 Cross throughout the Bahamas, Turks, Virgin Islands and the rest of the Carribean. Lived in the Keys 15 years, St Thomas for 2 years always working on some kind of vessel. I am a marine electrician and mechanic which can come in handy sokmetimes. Just so I do not give the impression of Mr. Sailing. 1. I lost a rudder off Long Island, Bahamas(limped in and replaced it 2. Was onboard a Ketch that ran aground on Southwest Reef in the Caicos. 3. broken a few shrouds underway and 1 dismasting off Bimini. Everything turned out ggreat but the first lesson is :NEVER take bluewater sailing lightly or you will get bit. Contact me if u like.. If not have a safe trip...justin

When are you planning on making the trip?

I have to make a delivery from La Paz, Mexico to San Diego in late May. I will be available after June 1st.

I'm a Coast Guard licensed captain and have more than 50 years experience.

You can learn a little bit about me at my website at Pendelton C. Wallace* Author, Adventurer - Home or go to Victory Charters to see my boat and charter business.
