langousta is on a distinguished road
available to crew

I am looking to fill in or become regular crew for a racing boat in the Boston or Narragansett Bay area.

I am a novice sailor with about 7 years experience with boats from 15 to 44 feet. I''ve filled various roles from bareboat skipper to bottom scrubber and just love to sail in any capacity that I can. I will work hard and want to learn. My previous racing experience is informal but I am open to a more formal team experience.

Please contact me by email at zachary.slayton@fmr.com .

List of experience is as follows:
1999-2005: Served as crew on a CT 44 cruising boat for friendly races in Bristol Harbor, RI

2004: Chartered (bareboat) Catalina 32 in St. Petersburg, FL for 2 days

2004: Chartered Pearson 26 from Boston Harbor Sailing Club sailing in and around Boston Harbor for multiple day-sails

2003: Chartered Pearson 26 from Boston Harbor Sailing Club sailing in and around Boston Harbor for multiple day-sails

2003: Obtained ASA 101 (Basic Keelboat) and 103 (Coastal Cruising) certification on a Hunter 290 sailing out of St. Petersburg, FL

2003: Chartered (bareboat) Hunter 290 out of St. Petersburg for 3 days following ASA classes.

1998-1999: Sailing 15'' Mercuries @ Community Boating Boston
