Question Wanting to learn

Wanting to learn to sail willing to crew for anyone willing to teach!I'm located incenral new york just off the hudson .Am interested in recreational sailing>I'm unfamilar with sailing as a whole so where is the best place to start?

Racers are always looking for crew. Suggest you go to your nearest yacht club and ask around. Would help if we knew where you were.

New York is a pretty big state... also would help if you said what kind of sailing you're interested in doing. Sailing racing dinghies is one thing, racing on 30'+ keelboats is another.

a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
