Sadly I am not able to volunteer my help this time because the semester just started but what kind of experience are you looking for in potential crew?

So, basically, you're looking for people who are going to be shelling out money to fly out there... work on your boat for you, and not get paid... not get fed, and have to pay for their board while working for nothing... And they won't have any idea if they're going to be compatible with the captain or other crew until its too late to bail.... that makes a lot of sense... RIGHT.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Clarifications in response to a not so nice post.

Sailingdog is clearly a very experinced arm chair sailor with lots of great free advice.
