QuakeCity is an unknown quantity at this point
You say you have limited funds plus the distance of your delivery is relatively short and is nothing more than a coast hugging voyage.
Shouldn’t you be posting this in a travel or vacation site offering “two week holiday” on your boat as payment for the delivery? (Which would equal $3000-4000 in payment) I’d wait until the weather got better and post this offer in such sites; of course I’d want the captain so to speak to be accredited for insurance.
You’d have to say most competent weekend boaties would do that trip easy and you could take a bond of $2000 or so to be returned after safe delivery and two week holiday, this bond you’d have to pay if you hired a boat of this type anyway.
If anything went wrong that bond would go a long way in covering the excess of the insurance, wouldn’t it and would be better than hiring some dropkick that might end up costing you the excess. Couldn’t hurt to try and it could end up only costing you the price of the gas for the delivery.
Cheers Q_C

Q_C you do not happen to be one of those delivery captains do you? You seem to lash out on nearly every "crew wanted"... if you are then you should state that in your sig, if not - it seems obsessive IMHO (but each there own)...

I'd take your dog... my youngest basset loves those little dogs... you tho... you look like a man wanting to get pregnant and so I pass besides dogs drink less !!! But your dog must pay his own airfare, food and beverages unless he becomes food for crew...in which case we call it even...

Dog....er.....Princess doesn't work.....so no can pay airfare, food.....etc.....
