Crew Available for pacific crossing

Hello- I own a new Oyster 66 with skipper and mate/cook. I am looking for another person to help crew from Antiqua to Panama to Galapagos, Marquesas, Tuaotomos and Tahiti, leaving boat in Tahiti. Departure from eastern Carrib will be late Feb, cruising San Blas Islands a few days with Canal transit to be mid March. Plan to spend 10-12 days cruising each of Galapagos, Marquesas, and Tuamotos.
Would expect you to cover own airfare with modest contribution to provisioning.
If interested, please provide info to my email address about your sailing/cruising experience and info that would best describe the kind of person you are. Tho sailing experience is important, most important of all is personality and chemistry with others. Cheers

Crew Available for pacific crossing

Hi,

My partner, Greer, and I are looking to offer our youth, energy and easy going natures to a sailing yacht for 3-4 months starting March/ April 2003. We are hardworking, enthusiastic and experienced.

We are both about 30 and have extensive experience in sailing. Russel has over 15,000 miles (over continuous 18 months) and knowledge of sailing, navigation, and the running and maintenance of all yacht systems. Greer has experience in weekend sailing and a couple of overnighters.

We also have experience of living together in confined spaces having ridden bicycles across Asia and lived in a tent for 4 months together.

Our preference is to join a yacht in Panama or the Carribean and assist with the Panama Canal and the Pacific passage. Ideally we would then like to continue cruising the South Pacific for a couple of months.

We will then fly home from whereever is convenient as a drop off point. We have the financial resources to fly in or out of anywhere required.

Ideally, we would like to cruise with another couple who would appreciate the company and the help. We are open to fly and meet owners and have a week to get to know each other before departure before we are accepted as crew. If the owners are not happy with us we will continue on our way.

Please email Russel.Morris@bigpond.com if you are interested in us

Thanks

Russel and Greer
