Crew wanted for the Mediterranean

Ciao! After having spent 7 months sailing around the
coast of Italy, Corsica, Sardegna and Tunisia on my
little 22 footer, "Maruzza" is now resting in north
Africa until the end of February. In march I will keep
going to Malta, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.
I am looking for 1 crew member to share this
experience (and the beauty of sailing!) with me. I am
Giuseppe, a 33-year-old italian.

Ciao!!

wanting to crew

Hi Giuseppe

I am not sure what you are looking for but I am Canadian, 22, male, hard working, 5 years sailing experience and will be in Spain, Barcelona. I would like to sail anywhere after February 16th 2009. I am clean, non smoker, no drugs. Great sense of humour. I studied videography in college and I would like to video the trip and make a film.

Call me 705-478-8999

Hello Giuseppe,

We will be sailing a boat from Tunis to Barcelona in ten days. Can you give us some advise? We don't know the area very well.
best regards,
Karel

Karel, Giuseppe posted this years ago. But Barcelona is my sailing base so I may be able to help you if you are a bit more specific about your plans and what you need.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. I am going to sail a classic boat(70ft) from Tunis to Barcelona. The engine is in a very good condition, the sails mast and rigging have to be overhauled. It means sailing needs to be done with attention. What is the prevailing course, what are your suggestions?Linea recta Tunis-Balearen or by westerly winds east of Sardinia? But I think the north of the mediterrenian is normally the weather unpredictable.
Best regards,
Karel

Hello Karel. I am in Barcelona right now and am itching to get on a sail boat. I am a clean, hardworking guy with a good sense of humor. Do you have room for an extra set of hands on deck even for just a day trip? Throw me a line if you do.
