PuddlePirate—

The crew wanted ads on this site are generally for FREE, UNPAID crew positions. While the captain will usually feed you and may pay your airfare to/from the boat, you aren't generally going to be paid anything and all other costs are usually on you.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Peter, you need more posts to communicate by private message.
Popeye, you should probably post your sailing resume.

Sailing Dog you are correct.. this is an upaid position, I will be covering on board expenses..

Thank you for the tip WanderingStar. This will be the 3rd offshore trip on this route for me. the previous 2 were outside Hatteras. I have been sailing most my life, about 7 or 8 with big boat experience.

Hi, New to this site. Still trying to figure out how to post resume. I'm trying to build up some sea time as quickly as possilbe. Trying to raise my lic. Boating for 40 years. Prefer to stay east coast. But will do what ever it takes. More of a cruiser than racer.
Is posting my email permitted?

Peter

You can post your e-mail, but do so in the form:

username {at} isp {dot} com

so that spambots are less likely to pick it up.
