Available Crew in New Orleans!!!

I'm relatively new to the sailing world and am looking to crew on any boat that will have me down here in New Orleans. I can't afford sailing lessons and figure the best way to learn is by doing, so if you're going out on the weekends for a joyride, do a young sailor a favor and give me a buzz so I can learn and share in the fun. I learn quick, and can't wait to sail any and everywhere!

Spud—

I would recommend you not post your e-mail in machine readable form, unless you like a lot of spam. use something like spudsrfr123 {at} yahoo {dot} com.

Also, it would be good if you said what, if any, qualifications you have: can cook, CPR certified, know how to do coastal pilotage, do a night watch, repair or troubleshoot diesel engines, etc... as these are the things that really make you valuable as crew.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
