crewman here

Hi, I am moving to San Diego in a week. I am 22 years old. I would love to obtain a position on a crew which I have always wanted to do. I am a rookie, but am a hard worker and can take orders. Please let me know if there are any positions available.

no pay

no of course not. People don't pay race crew. You don't have to pay me, however, and I cover all race costs.

fishing boats

let me add that there are lots of professional fishing boats, you may be able to get a mininum wage job on board one of those and the tips can be very good. This can lead to a Captain's license in 2 years.
