I dont have sailing experience but am a fast learner. Live in Miami and have a job but available on weekends. If you are looking for help the week of 4th of July, for the entire week, I can certainly help!

Do you have any skills that make you desirable as a crew member, like knowing how to wax a boat, troubleshoot electrical, diesel, and plumbing problems, etc. Do you get a discount on libations or marine supplies?

Also, might want to say how old you are and such...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I am looking forward to my first sailing adventure, and not to underestimate how hard it could be, but I am sure I can learn and be of help. I have been reading on the subject for a while and waiting to get experience. I have an engineering degree and work in an industrial setting. I have never waxed a boat but have waxed cars and I do basic work on my car/motorcycle. Thank you for your help.
