Crew wanted.. USVI to Bahamas

We are in search of 1-3 people with sailing, open water, boating experience to help us take our sailboat from St. Thomas to the Bahamas in April of 2011 (dates somewhat open). We are living aboard, but have not yet done any long or overnight passages.

No smoking or drugs. References required. Family atmosphere. Looking to make the trip in the length of about one week. Our boat is a 46 ft. catamaran. Crew will have their own cabin & bathroom. Willing to negotiate particulars.

serious inquiries only. contact us at

What expenses will crew be responsible for? Are you paying for air transport to the USVI and home from the Bahamas?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Just curious. Anyone hear from the poster, IslandSpiritFamily, on their post? I sent an email several days ago but haven't received a "no thanks" or "we're interested" reply. I thought they would be monitoring their email for respondents.

Maybe they're sitting in some deserted anchorage. We can only dream!
