Really why?

Does anyone qualify? Is everything not allowed so you can selectively enforce whatever you want when you feel like it?

Anyway I'm planning to get a mid sized sailboat on a trailer soon so I'll be messing with that.

Not much of this thread was meant to be take seriously - interesting that that stipulation got your hackles up. Good luck with your new boat.

I hope you go through with the trip, crew or not. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about the James. I would love to go with you, but I've got 2 boys playing baseball and one in martial arts that take up all my free time running between practices and games.

Oh that's right I forgot about this from the original post!

But yeah I understand, I forgot -- to be a tea party member you have to be retired so you can walk down the middle of the street on a work day and stand in front of the court house with some signs showing that you're upset so it can get a minute on the evening news. Then all the other people watching can get all excited about how things are really going to change, and continue to convince themselves that they can continue to do nothing since some people with lots of time on their hands have it all figured out!

Actually, when I said "tea party", I meant these guys.

I did a solo trip to Chestertown last year - I was the only sailboat on the river except the Sultana. Really beautiful trip.

I noticed that Frogwatch doesn't mind pop tarts and porta potties, so I'm not alone, and he likes his pop tarts stale.

Thanks for the encouragement, Willis.

Who do you sail with in PCRC? I keep my boat close to the start line and used to sail with them...
