Need one crew member for May - Chsn, SC to NH

I'm working on getting a 1981 C&C 32 from Charleston, SC to Portsmouth, NH beginning around May 1st. I'm looking at getting a total crew size of 3 and I am in need of one more. Any interested?

What are you offering? Daily pay, plane ticket, food, etc?

Some more questions (from my post in your sail thread):

It sounds like you are not planning a continuous offshore voyage from SC to ME, but will be stopping off at ports along the way (where you can wait out bad weather). Will you be staying inside in the ICW, Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay, Long Island Sound, or will you be making hops outside?

How long do you expect the trip to take?

Since you'll be ending up in the Portsmouth/Kittery area, check out the Piscataqua Sailing Association: www.sailpsa.org

They have a crew wanted spot on their website where you could advertise for crew for your delivery.

You might also try Points East Magazine crew wanted site: Points East, the New England Cruising Magazine

I will begin May 1st and need to arrive final destination ASAP. If weather conditions support, then offshore would be the preferred route. ICW will be used only as necessary to log miles on otherwise poor sailing days. I'm transferring commands (US Navy) and this is the month that I am transferring. Thanks for the heads up on the other sites.

Are you still looking for a crew member for your trip? I could give you about a week at the begining of May. I'm a licensed Capt, and have done the trip from that area going both N. & S. a few times. PM if you would like. I'm located in Old saybrook Ct

Im available. Spent last fall bringing a Catalina 27 from Cleveland, OH to Key West, FL mostly singlehanded. Offshore experience is limited to day trips off the ICW when weather allowed.

Have you found crew yet? Are you leaving May 1 as planned? I'm available, but just read your post. I'm in Northern VA. Let me know if you still need someone.
