Good day Christan,

Still enroute Falmouth weather delays as normal.

A Westerly is a brand of vessel very popular and much loved in UK.
The person I had used the "Westerly Sea Person" Phrase had a model of Westerly in thier Sailnet name (Centaur) there is many models.

Fair Winds

Kindest Regards

Thestar

Wink Added to passage plan notes!!!

Just a quick thought is this normal?

Navy lose an unexbloded mine in the English Channel ?

Cornwall reports 8ft Shark attacking boats?

Here : 'Man-eating' shark rammed my boat, says Cornish fisherman | UK news | guardian.co.uk

Maybe this should be added to Mariners Notice

I hope that you will have arrived in Falmouth save and happy when you read this post. Sorry but I have another question to your wording: What exactly is a Westerly sea person ?
Hi Christian. from a previous post.
My Westerly Centaur "Aurora" on her summer mooring in Skerries bay, Dublin. Not sure I,d describe her as a beauty but she takes me to beautiful places.
Shes a bit rough but always ready. Easily managed and capable of taking a beating.
Manufacturer sugests retireing to the cabin if it gets too rough and the boat will look after itself!! Can,t beat that for confidence. Never tried it yet tho.
Was sleeping on board a fairly modern cruiser recently and could see the wavlets through the hull, scary given Aurora,s hull is at least an inch solid GPR.
Safe sailing
Ps Thestar,
No response to my PM.

Boats and Beauty

....thank you for the picture! For me it does look beautiful, at least more beautiful than many of the modern-style designed boats. Compared to cars I would prefer every old and coughing MG to all these perfect silver machines coming from...you know from where, donīt you?

new crew from Canada

Hello there,

Would you be willing to take on someone new to sailing? I'd be free from mid-August until whenever you decide to quit. I'm 25 and pull twice my weight in work. If you're interested, please IM/E-mail me more details as to where/when you'd need me, and what I'd need to bring with me from home.

All the best,
Garrett

Sorry never got this in my email....
Check the member CREW WANTED SECTION I posted FULL details for crew.
Just had a fantastic crew member leave from current port to return home to USA they enjoyed the experience although our weather gave them a shock it was a rather nasty one night short storm that came with Northerly winds shame really...

Kindest Regards

Will

Your boat is excellent sorry no reply had sailed crazy me went solo and spent several days sailing none stop. I always liked the deep safe cockpit on your Westerly model and yes storm wise it would easily handle it if you plan any winter sailing I am up for it :-)

Hello Thestar,
sounds like you had some great sailing during the last weeks...I had posted your crew request in some german speaking forums, but there were no responses. Any plans for winter?
