Crew or another boat to go alongside wanted

I am planning to head south (to Florida) from the Boston area in mid October-ish. I would love to have any crew come along that would be available, or even another boat to sail with along the way. Even if it could only be in certain legs of the journey, either would be great to have. I have some fairly decent knowledge of some of the locations along the way. I am going to be on a 28ft O'Day, and the pace of the trip is certainly up for discussion. I'm open to anything, inner or outer, slow or fast (assuming I had some crew). Cheers

we'll come!

My boyfriend and I will be in Maine in Mid October, happy to hop down to Boston to join you! Adam has a bunch of sailing experience, along with being a great fisherman, carpenter and handy guy. I don't get seasick, can cook, keep watch, speak spanish, and am eager to learn a lot about sailing! Please get in touch if you want to learn more about us.
Cheers,
Ana and Adam

How far south are you looking to travel?

Hi there. I'm an experienced sailor, 42-yr-old woman, have worked on tall ships and done some smaller yacht deliveries. I need to get to the BVI from the east coast before Christmas. I'm free starting late October, will be in the Chesapeake Bay then. Could come back up to Boston or you could pick me up in the Bay. Are you looking to pay folks, or just for friends?

Hi Justified,

I'm sure you were speaking to Sailing Chuppy, but since your post followed mine and you're going my way, I figured I'd respond. Forum won't let me PM yet, as I'm still a newbie here. If you need crew heading south, I'll be in Norfolk October 16th and looking to go further south. I can head to another port if that would be more convenient. I'm 42, experienced, easy to get along with. No smoking, never drink underway (and only a little in port).

Thanks!
Tami

I will mention it to the owner and his other crew member who will be taking over at
Coinjock Nc around the 21st or 22nd. How far south were you looking to go? 2nd leg is usually into Georgia or north Fla area. Approx a week plus.

Hey, thanks! I'll head to the BVI in the end, by Christmas, so as far south as possible here, I guess. From your first post, it looked like the boat would make it to Key West...
