Are you looking for paid positions? I typically deliver my boat to Annapolis from solomons, the potomac, and from the southern bay to Solomons to get to racing. Shoot me a PM or email with a resume.

Reliance

If you can make your way to where the boat is (Europe or the Caribbean, usually), this company is always looking for crew: Reliance Yachts Crew Vacancies Several of the current openings are trans-atlantic.

I crewed for them on a delivery across the Mediterranean and a shorter hop across the northern bits of Germany. Usually the skipper pays for all meals, so your only expenses are (part of) your transportation to and from the boat.

You may not get much sailing experience that way. Some delivery captains come aboard, start the engine, and motor to the destination. The sails never see the light of day.

Re: Looking to crew a delivery

I have two deliveries coming up this May. Both professional, no pay but all expenses covered. Both are northern Caribbean to New England via Bermuda. If you are interested send me a sailing resume: r.brake at usa.net. Small boat experience i.e. dinghy racing puts you high on the list.
