Key West to Charlotte Harbor

Looking to sail my Pearson 35' back to Charlotte Harbor late March/early April. would like to spend a week or so exploring. I would prefer a woman but compatibility and sharing expenses is more important. Could be a test sail for Island hopping next winter. I'm also interested in day sails or short trips while I'm here.

Will be in Miami for four days next week, looking to hang out in Florida for a bit, sailing... where are you? And how much money for expenses are you wanting for the trip back to Charlotte?

To Charlotte Harbor

I'm not looking to make any money, just share food and drink. Maybe share a night at a slip instead of anchoring. I have a slip at Stock Island Marine Village (Key West) for next month and a half. Feel free to visit or come down for a sail.

Will be leaving Saturday to drive down to Miami from Cape Cod. Arriving Monday in Miami, so I will get online and message you again. Would like to come down for a sail, or at least a visit, meet and talk about the possibilities.

Visit

Sounds good, BTW I spent last summer on Martha's Vineyard, and am planning on going back this summer.

I'll be sailing down to Key West from the 10th-17th of March. I don't really know anyone down there, so if you're in the area and feel like grabbing a beer/ talking boats, let me know!

Planning on being in Miami until March 1st, then down to Keys, so will check messages here mid next week. Grabbing a beer sounds good, but a little Captain Morgan sounds even better.

Re: Key West to Charlotte Harbor

Hey, Natasha Capt.
An old sailing friend suggested I check out sailnet. I am finishing working in the Everglades March 28. Looking for the next gig. Am 58, live full-time in an RV traveling and picking up park jobs. Lived on a 146' gaff-rigged schooner ship in '71 & 72. (A school ship; we were the crew) Don't remember much about sailing, but it certainly gave me wanderlust. Can haul ropes and follow directions with great grace. Fabulous at cleaning scuppers. Cook an okay meal even when under way. My best things are that I'm nice, easy to be with, and have a good sense of humor. Finishing in the 'glades as an interpretive ranger. Love the people contact. Have been in Montana for 38 years. Have missed the ocean. A sail north would be great fun. Thanks for considering me as a mate. P.S. I am a woman.
