Bahamas - Competent Crew Seeks Sailing Opporutnity

I am former Air Force pilot who recently made an 11,000-mile trek by motorcycle from Seattle to Alaska to Florida. I just sold the bike and hopped on a Catalina 320 to help the owner move it from Miami to Nassau. I now seek to continue the adventure on another sailboat to anywhere for as long or as short as opportunity allows.

I began sailing in 1995, have recent sailing experience and am certified through the Annapolis Sailing School and America Sailing Association.

More information about me can be found at www.aaronfreed.info. My resume is also attached.

Regards,

Aaron

Re: Bahamas - Competent Crew Seeks Sailing Opporutnity

I'm planning on doing a trip sailing around the Chesapeake for 2-3 weeks starting May 4th. My wife just told me that I can't go unless I find crew. The boat is a 1964 Whitby 25 with basic equipment. I'm mulling over going outside the bay and up the coast (see this post), though I'm not committed to that. Send me an email if this sounds interesting.

Thanks. Though my last boat was cuter, she didn't perform so well. From what I understand, your Alberg 30 is based on the Whitby 25, though the configuration below the waterline is markedly different.
