Sorry all: if private messaging me, please include an email address or use the "send message via email" option as my newbie account status doesn't allow me to respond to private messages.

Is this too far to go?

I'm buying a 28 ft sailboat from my aunt who has it in Chesapeake Bay. I'll be sailing it around FL to Corpus Christie, TX at which point I'm renting an F350 and a trailer to drive it to Long Beach, CA. You'd be welcome to join me for all or part of the journey, looking for a hand to keep her sailing 24/7 and have the shortest possible trip.

Hmm, when were you thinking and how long do you think it would take?

I'm trying to work it out for sometime in the next few weeks. 15 days to Corpus Christie may be ambitious, but that's what I'm shooting for. Then an easy 2 day drive to Los Angeles if you feel like getting to the Pacific.

Sorry, I wouldn't be able to find the time that soon. Best of luck to you and safe travels.
