Passed ASA Keelboat class looking to crew for more experience in NC

I passed my ASA Keelboat class this past weekend. Looking to get more sailing experience on the coast of NC. I could do most of NC, from belhaven down to wrightsville as a starting point. They are all about 1.5 hrs or so for me as a drive. None of my friends are into sailing, so looking to meet new folks and get some experience! More than willing to help pay for supplies and gas.
Thanks,

Hey Raven,

I might need some crew sometime this summer as all my buddies aren't into sailing either. I'd be willing to crew too if you have some contacts.

Hey roving junkie, I am in the process of having a bought delivered to me. So I will have a boat of my own shortly. I will contact you when it gets here and after I have done some maintenance and what not. Are you in NC?

Yep, down in Swansboro. Just got back from a day on the bay. Weather turned out great.

Cool deal! I went out yesterday on a big boat after a chance meeting trying to square dock rental at a marina. Looks like you have more contacts than me! Glad to hear the weather was nice, I have a feeling its going to get rougher over the next couple of days thanks to beryl.

Roving and raven, I would be interested in crewing as well. I'm not particularly experienced, hence the interest in building my skills, but I do get down to the Jacksonville area pretty frequently. It would be good to get to know other sailors as well.
