Looking to build sea time

Hello

I am a 23 (24 in July) year old lifelong sailor. I am based in the Chesapeake Bay and am a licensed USCG Captain, as well as an EMT. I am looking to build sea time towards an offshore license, as my license is currently only inland. I have done many offshore trips, but need to do a few more to upgrade. I am not looking for a paid position, but I am looking for expenses to be covered. Please email me at captcore (at) gmail (dot) com if you are looking for crew.

Thanks

Capt Corey Mitchell

Re: Looking to build sea time

I would consider paying for your food in exchange for sailing tips on the trip.

I'm buying a 28 ft sailboat from my aunt who has it in Chesapeake Bay. I'll be sailing it around FL to Corpus Christie, TX at which point I'm renting an F350 and a trailer to drive it to Long Beach, CA. You'd be welcome to join me for all or part of the journey, looking for a hand to keep her sailing 24/7 and have the shortest possible trip.
