Smile Moving to West coast..looking for sailing adventure fun!

Hello all.. I am a 25 year old male that will be moving to Northern California in August. I have been wanting to gain some experience sailing/working on a boat for some time now, and defiantly before I purchase my own. I am a very hard worker, and have tons of travel experience and have lived in Nelson, NZ for about 4 months and would love to return. I will be attending Humboldt State University for graduate school in the Wildlife department, but would love to possible meet some people within the area or along the California coast that might have some openings on a boat.

Thanks

Re: Moving to West coast..looking for sailing adventure fun!

Are you on the East coast of the US?

I'm buying a 28 ft sailboat from my aunt who has it in Chesapeake Bay. I'll be sailing it around FL to Corpus Christie, TX at which point I'm renting an F350 and a trailer to drive it to Long Beach, CA. You'd be welcome to join me for all or part of the journey, looking for a hand to keep her sailing 24/7 and have the shortest possible trip.
